LAHRA Announces 2016 HR Professional of the Year

    The purpose of the Lakeshore Area Human Resources Professional of the Year award is to recognize a member of the Association for his/her outstanding contributions to their employer, profession and community. This year's award winner is Brooke Sprang, HR Manager with Investors Community Bank.  

    Brookes primary responsibiblities include management of company payroll, benefits, recruitment and onboarding programs & policies.  She coordinates the company Affirmative Action program, training & development programs, wellness, compliance and workforce planning. 

    Investors Community Bank started the year with 109 employees and two locations.  With the additon of two locations, Investors Community Bank saw a growth in employment to 151 employees.

    Investors Community Bank allows employees the ability to allocate funds to support the local community.  This year Brooke supporthed the Manitowoc Youth Baseball Association and United Way.  She participated in the United Way kick off event in Two Rivers with her family and her daughter kicked around the soccer ball with ICB President Tim Schneider!

    As a recipient of the HR Professional of the Year award, Brooke has chosed the Salvation Army Teen Center (The Light) as the recipient of a donation in her name.

    Brooke is currently a board member of the Lakeshore Area Human Resources Association serving in as a Core Leader.  She will be moving into the Treasurer role in 2017.  Congratulations on your achievement of HR Professional of the Year and good luck in all your future endeavors!
