The Evolved Workforce…moving the employee engagement needle

The workplace is changing. Isn’t it time Leadership does too?

We are in one of the most transformative periods ever experienced in the history of the United States. Business models are being turned on end and today, even with continued high unemployment, we are experiencing critical skills shortages in particular industries along with unprecedented changes in demographics. There is no business as usual in today’s rapidly changing world. It’s time for organizations to evolve their practices and their employees.

Much has been written about employee engagement, yet only 30% of all employees are truly engaged. This number is virtually unchanged over the past 13 years. Worse yet, a clear 62% of US employees would change jobs now if they could. But how do you engage? We know it’s not employee picnics, ice cream socials and suggestion boxes. However, it does begin with a discovery where critical items and issues are evaluated, uncovered and leadership’s commitment is made a crucial part of engagement.

Following this presentation, today’s Leaders will:

    • Be able to revisit Leadership rituals and debunk those which simply don’t fit in today’s workplace.

    • Understand how the correct use of evaluation and assessment can lead to breakthrough performance.

    • Become familiar with an innovative development of people through design and delivery of internal, external and special project development.

    • Be introduced to an engagement cycle that truly engages people.
